Giving defect parts a second chance

We had the same idea and set up our own in-house repair service many years ago. What the EU has only required since 2021 has been part of everyday practice at BRUNNER since 1989.

Our products are fundamentally designed with durability in mind. And if something does break, it’s usually not a problem for us. We’re happy to take care of it.

What should I keep in mind when sending in my product?

When you place a repair order, we create a service “call”. Most returns are electronic components, such as stove control units. If they arrive poorly packed and are damaged in transit, there’s often nothing we can do. Especially for electronics, please pack them in an anti-static bag or newspaper and use the original box.

  • Complete the repair form (see the form below) in full, print it, and describe the fault as precisely as possible.
  • If a call number already exists for this case, be sure to include it.
  • Enclose the repair form with your shipment. Control units are sensitive parts – pack them carefully, as if you were shipping eggs 😉 Shipping costs are taken by the sender.

The more accurately you prepare your shipment, the faster we can diagnose the issue – saving time and money.

Please note!

  • Please enclose the repair form with the shipment to avoid any queries.
  • A flat inspection fee of €35 plus shipping costs will be charged. In the event of a repair, the necessary work will be carried out and any defective parts replaced. Repairs costing up to €200 will generally be completed without a cost estimate. For higher amounts, a cost estimate can be provided upon request. For warranty claims, please enclose a copy of the invoice or delivery note, or use our product registration. If no warranty claim exists, the repair or replacement costs will be charged.
  • Pack the parts securely and adequately for shipping to avoid transport damage — preferably in the original packaging.
  • If information about the installer is available, please enter it under point 1 (Craftsman Information)
