BRUNNER water-bearing system stoves are the perfect combination of long-lasting heat storage and modern hot water generation. While the ceramic storage stove releases gentle radiant heat for many hours, the integrated heat exchanger simultaneously supplies the heating system with hot water – an ideal way to support the central building heating system.
As a modular kit, it guarantees quick installation. With precisely manufactured components and flexible design options – such as exposed concrete, plaster, or ceramic – the stove blends seamlessly into any living concept.
FAQ Water-bearing system stoves
- What is the difference between a water-bearing system stove and a water-bearing stove?
The functional principle and internal technology are the same for both variants: both provide pleasant, long-lasting radiant heat in the living space while also transferring part of the heat to the heating system for domestic hot water preparation. Externally, however, lies the major difference: the outer shell of the water-bearing stove can be designed completely individually. The water-bearing system stove, on the other hand, has a prefabricated thermal concrete shell, where only the surface can be customised (e.g. by painting, sealing or plastering). The latter, however, can be implemented more quickly by the stove builder and is therefore more cost-effective.
- What is the difference between a water-bearing system stove and a water-bearing system fireplace?
Water-bearing system fireplaces feature large viewing windows and emit plenty of radiant heat directly into the room. They heat up quickly and create a strong fire atmosphere – ideal for larger living spaces or new builds, where excess heat is transferred to the heating system.
Water-bearing system stoves, on the other hand, focus on heating water generation. Up to 70% of the heat is transferred into the heating system – perfect when the stove is intended to actively contribute to heating the building and relieve the central heating system.
