The combination
Heat pump & Heating centre
We offer a functional guarantee with the hydraulic solutions BHZ and BWP. In combination with the BRUNNER heating centre, the heat pump can be expanded and combined as desired – whether with domestic hot water generation via a fresh water station, additional heating circuits, or the use of surplus photovoltaic power. System integration in combination with BRUNNER boiler units is simple. And all of this is managed with a single control system and a uniform user interface: with just one glance at the glass touch display, you can see all key parameters such as the operating status of the heat pump and buffer temperatures. A clear and intuitive layout ensures straightforward operation of the entire heating system.

The classic wood-burning stove and the heat pump in symbiosis
Heat pumps have the drawback that their efficiency decreases as temperatures drop. This is due to their operating principle – like an inverted refrigerator, they extract heat and thus energy from the air and transfer it into the living space. This is where the wood-burning stove comes into play: precisely on those cold days when it is most enjoyable to create cosy warmth with a wood fire, a water-bearing wood stove or fireplace supports the heat pump. This combination offers a wide range of advantages.
The different Heating solutions

Heat pump - stove heating system
Cozy warmth meets smart technology – your perfect heating solution for cold days
When frost bites outside and temperatures drop, your heat pump needs some support – and that’s where the wood-burning stove comes into play. After all, what could be better than warming up in front of a crackling fire on a cold winter’s day?
A modern wood-burning stove is much more than just a place to get warm and cozy. It’s the ideal complement to a heat pump and helps boost its efficiency during icy days. This means you save electricity, money, and protect your heating system – while enjoying a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere in your home.
Especially smart: water-bearing wood-burning stoves. They not only provide direct radiant heat but also feed additional energy into the heating system. Skilled craftsmen design these stoves individually according to your wishes and ensure seamless integration into your existing heating setup.
The result? A harmonious interplay between technology and nature that not only warms your home but can also significantly extend the lifespan of your heat pump – by up to 5–10 years!
More comfort. Less energy consumption. Longer-lasting enjoyment of your heating system.

Heat pump system Plus
A unique concept featuring a large, central system storage tank designed as a stratified storage unit. It collects and stores the energy produced by the heat pump, the water-bearing wood-burning appliance, or other heat sources, and distributes it to the heating systems as needed. The hydraulic unit is installed in the adjacent register, allowing the connection of multiple heating circuits – even up to a swimming pool.
Ideal for buildings with high heat demand. Domestic hot water is generated via a fresh water module (plate heat exchanger) designed for high draw-off rates. The system storage tank and hydraulic box are specifically tailored to the requirements of the BRUNNER heat pump. The heat sources and consumers simply need to be connected. All hydraulic components are preassembled and precisely coordinated from a control perspective.
A sophisticated heating system that accommodates complex heating technologies – and guarantees reliable performance.
