Ulrich Brunner – a creative tinkerer at heart
Even as a child, Ulrich Brunner had a strong instinct for inventing and experimenting. He made the most of the freedom that life in the countryside offered, often in a mischievously creative way. Whether it was setting off homemade firecrackers to stir up a pile of scrap metal or crafting clever tools to catch chickens, his imagination knew no bounds. It was during this time that his fascination with campfires began – and he wondered if there might be a way to make them even better.
In his father’s stove factory, he gained his first hands-on experience with wood heating at a young age and didn’t shy away from playing with fire, even when welding together his own go-kart. Ulrich has remained that same inventive spirit to this day. And to everyone’s delight – as all friends and employees at BRUNNER will confirm – there’s still a bit of that playful boy in him.
Seal of quality made in Germany
All BRUNNER products have always been developed and manufactured in Germany. Highly qualified engineers and experienced technicians design the company’s premium stoves and fireplaces at its headquarters in Eggenfelden, Lower Bavaria, continuously refining and improving them with expert knowledge and great attention to detail.
Working hand in hand with the stove-building trade, BRUNNER maintains an open dialogue that brings around 1,000 stove builders to Eggenfelden every year. Here, knowledge is shared, training sessions are held, and, true to Lower Bavarian tradition, glasses are raised to celebrate shared success.
