The features
- 1. Simple, intuitive operation
The touchscreen keeps all the important information about your heating system in view. All heating functions are displayed and controlled centrally. A second display can be installed in the living area, and online access is also available.
- 2. Pellet day container
There is always enough space for pellets. They can be stored in the day hopper, in a weekly hopper requiring a footprint of just 0.36 m², or in a larger storage solution such as a silo or storage room from 4 m².
- 3. Quiet operation & low maintenance
Everything runs fully automatically, quietly and with minimal maintenance – from ignition to ash removal. The ash box only needs to be emptied three to four times a year. All relevant notifications automatically appear on the display.
- 4. Spacious & easy-to-empty ash box
The clean combustion of BRUNNER pellet boilers results in less ash and longer intervals between emptying. The spacious ash box is integrated into the pellet heating system to save space.
- 5. Pellet supply
Our pellet feeding system is equipped with an integrated automatic vacuum conveying system.
- 6. Ceramic ignition element
The durable ceramic ignition element is designed for low energy consumption.
- 7. Stainless steel boiler
Thanks to the stainless steel construction, no return temperature boost is required. This applies to both condensing and non-condensing models.
- 8. Boiler pump
Variable control & already integrated – saving costs and increasing efficiency, as only as much hot water is generated as actually required.
- 9. Complete heating control system
As a complete heating solution, the BPH can control heating circuits, provide domestic hot water and utilise energy from photovoltaic or solar thermal systems.
- 10. Rotary feeder as burn-back protection
Additional safety: the rotary feeder acts as burn-back protection and prevents flames from entering the day container.
- 11. Negative pressure measurement
Provides the basis for controlling the combustion air supply – for maximum efficiency and minimum emissions.

We focus on maximum efficiency & minimum emissions

Low particulate emissions with green
The BPH green achieves low particulate emissions without an additional particle separator. It therefore meets the technical requirements for the emissions reduction bonus, provided that the applicable funding conditions are met.

More heat from the pellets
Condensing technology also utilises the heat contained in the water vapour in the flue gases. This allows additional heat to be recovered for the heating system compared with conventional technology.

Compact & lightweight
With a footprint of just 0.53 m² or 0.63 m², space is hardly an issue. Thanks to its compact dimensions and low transport weight, the unit is also easy to move into position for quick installation.

Ideal for renovations & new builds
The BPH comes with everything you need: it is a complete heating solution featuring intelligent heating circuit management as well as integration options for solar thermal and photovoltaic systems. Existing heating systems can also be integrated. When installing a condensing model, a chimney renovation requires an internal diameter of just 100 mm.
Green
An investment in the future
The BPH green achieves low emission levels without an additional particle separator. Its emission values are below the limits specified by Stage 2 of the German 1st Federal Immission Control Ordinance (1. BImSchV). It also complies with the particulate emission requirements applicable to the respective model.
The modern and cost-effective green technology also operates reliably during start-up and post-run phases. It is quick to install and requires no additional maintenance.
And best of all: attractive government subsidies are available for this technology, including, for example, an emissions reduction bonus of €2,500.

Condensing technology
In the BRUNNER pellet heating system
Modern BRUNNER condensing technology ensures particularly efficient heating operation. It is suitable for radiators, underfloor heating and wall heating and works particularly well with low-temperature heating systems.
What makes condensing technology so effective? With conventional heating systems, some of the energy escapes unused through the chimney – namely the heat contained in the water vapour in the flue gases.
Condensing technology makes use of precisely this residual heat. It cools the flue gases until the water vapour condenses. This releases additional heat, which can then be used directly for heating.
As a result, heating systems with condensing technology extract almost all of the available energy from the pellets – up to 15% more than conventional systems.
Pellet storage systems
How large should my pellet store be?
To ensure a reliable heat supply throughout the year, the pellet store should ideally hold the entire annual requirement. The required quantity depends on the energy demand of the building – or can simply be calculated based on previous heating oil consumption.
For example, if your previous annual consumption was around 1,000 litres of heating oil, this corresponds to approximately 2 tonnes of pellets or a heat demand of around 8,000 kWh.
Prefabricated storage systems are a space-saving and convenient solution and are available for both indoor and outdoor use. They are specifically designed for pellet storage and allow gentle filling and automatic pellet extraction.
No space for a pellet silo? No problem – compact solutions are also available.

The best of solar energy and wood
Combining photovoltaics and pellets
Combining a pellet heating system with photovoltaics ensures that your heating requirements are reliably covered throughout the year. During the summer months, energy is generated by the PV system, while in winter the pellet heating system reliably covers the building’s heat demand. Surplus solar power can be used flexibly for heating or to charge an electric vehicle.
The BRUNNER Energy Manager provides a clear, simple and transparent overview of the energy flows within your home. Its modern user interface shows at a glance how electricity and heat are distributed for heating, domestic hot water or charging an electric vehicle.
Control your heating system on the go
With myBRUNNER
myBRUNNER online access allows you to conveniently access your heating system via the internet. An app is also available for easy operation via smartphone or tablet. This means you can connect to your heating system comfortably from the sofa or even while you are away and use the familiar touchscreen interface.
Setting up online access takes just five minutes and is particularly useful whenever a status notification occurs. If you wish, you can also receive useful information about the status of your heating system by email.
