More and more houses are being built very close together and work with an automatic ventilation system. If this should not work properly, it might happen that it causes problems concerning the chimney. This security system will immediately warn you in case of differential pressure and will switch off the ventilation system. The control unit will only activate itself when you lighten up the log- fire. In the meantime it will be on standby.
The principle
The concealed installation case in the control unit will be placed close to the device. A highly sensitive negative pressure sensor, which controls the pressure difference between the stove and the place where the device is set up, is inserted. If the negative pressure should go up (in case of failure or through specific conduct) to over 4 pascal, the system will turn of the ventilation system immediately. Pressure fluctuations due to opening doors and windows will be filtered out.
The USA is perfectly tuned for wood fired stoves consisting of an external air supply.
