Doors

tiled stove doors, tiled stove door by BrunnerDoor types of modern tile stove inserts (HKD):

Especially for new homes, conforming to the common standard of low-energy house, it is very important to adjust the heating power of your tile stove to the individual heat demand of the room. In other words - to combine rapid heat projection through the viewing glass with indirect heat radiation through the outer shell of tile stove, in order to avoid extreme temperatures while eliminating the risk of under-supply.

  • the classic, single-glazed door with relatively high heat projection rate
  • double-glazed doors with thermal filter coating, combining unlimited view of fire with reduced heat projection
  • insulated doors with small control window and significantly reduced heat projection.

Left- or right-hand door::

HKD series doors can be reversed from right-hand to left-hand doors, if needed. At delivery all doors are supplied as right-hand option. Doors can be reversed anytime using a special conversion kit, even after assembly inside a tile stove.

Adjusting lever:

For all HKD tile stove inserts, the combustion air supply lever is located on the firebox, below the door.

For HBO tile stove inserts, combustion air supply is adjusted using a small lever, which is integrated in the firebox door. Combustion air is supplied straight from the room.
